Hydraulic Tank

Removal and Replacement - from machine no. 1360212
Removal
1 Position the machine on firm level ground and fully
raise the skip. Fit the safety strut to the lift ram
K
Safety Strut ( T 3-10).
2 Move the engine back on its cradle to improve access
K
Moving the Engine ( T K-3).
3 Place a container of sufficient size under the machine
to catch the hydraulic oil K
Lubricants and
Capacities ( T 3-8).
4 Remove the hydraulic filler cap A.
5 Disconnect the suction hose B from the rear of the
tank and allow the oil to drain from the tank. Plug the
end of the hose to prevent dirt ingress.
6 Disconnect the return hose C from the filter housing
and plug the hose.
7 Remove the four tank securing bolts D.
8 Lift the tank away from the chassis.
Replacement
1 Place the tank in position in the chassis.
2 Fit and tighten the four tank securing bolts D.
3 Remove the plug from the end of the suction hose B
and connect the hose at the rear of the tank. Tighten
the hose clip.
4 Connect the return hose C to the filter housing.
5 Fill the tank with the correct hydraulic oil and tighten
the filler cap K
Lubricants and Capacities ( T 3-8).
6 Move the engine forward and secure K
Moving the
Engine ( T K-3).
7 Remove the safety strut.
8 Start the engine and operate all hydraulic services to
fill the system with oil. Check the hydraulic oil level
regularly during this operation and top up as
necessary.
9 Check for oil leaks.
