Safety Strut
Fitting the Safety Strut
1 Fully raise the skip and stop the engine.
2 Remove the safety strut A from its storage position
and fit around the ram shaft. Fit the securing bolt.
3 Operate the control lever to gently lower the ram onto
the strut.
Removing the Safety Strut
1 Start the engine and operate the control lever to take
the weight off the strut. Stop the engine.
2 Remove the strut from the ram and replace it in its
storage position.
3 Lower the skip.
