Removal and Replacement
Removal
1 Remove the engine cover (if fitted) K Engine
Cover ( T B-1) and move the engine back on its
mounting to gain access K Engine
Mounting ( T K-3).
2 Remove the track K Track Removal and
Replacement ( T J-6).
3 Remove sprocket retaining capscrew A and its
washer and withdraw sprocket B from the motor drive
shaft.
Note: From machine no. 1360035 a sprocket support
bearing is fitted. The motor securing bolts also secure the
bearing housing.
4 Support the weight of the track motor C and unscrew
securing bolts D and E.
5 Remove the bearing housing assembly F and bearing
shield plate G.
6 The bearing H is sealed for life. It can be removed
from the housing using a suitable press.
