Adjusting the Track Tension - Hydraulic
Tensioner
Note: The tensioner valve contains grease under high
pressure. Never unscrew the fitting C more than one
complete turn. Never unscrew the grease nipple D.
1 Remove cover B.
2 To reduce track tension, using a socket spanner,
unscrew fitting C to allow grease to escape.
If grease does not start to appear, slowly rotate the
track until the correct tension is achieved at A.
3 Tighten fitting C and clear away all trace of expelled
grease.
4 To Increase track tension apply a grease gun to the
grease nipple C and add grease until the correct
tension is achieved at A.
5 Refit cover B.
