Cleaning/changing the Element -
Lombardini Engine
1 Stop the engine.
2 Open the engine cover (if fitted).
3 Unscrew wing nut A and remove filter cover B.
4 Unscrew wing nut C and remove filter element D.
5 Remove pre-filter E from the main element and wash
in soapy water. Dry using a warm air blower.
6 Clean the main element using an air blast from the
inside at a distance of at least 15 cm from the paper.
Renew the element if it is damaged or clogged.
7 Refit the pre-filter around the main element.
8 Refit the main element using a new rubber washer F.
9 Refit the filter cover B.
