What to do if JFE Advantech Gas Detectors display shows or?
    • B
      Brandon KramerAug 7, 2025
If the display shows or, it indicates that the instrument’s operational temperature is exceeded, or the internal temperature is too high. Avoid using the instrument in high-temperature environments exceeding 45°C, or limit use to short periods (several minutes) in such conditions. Also, avoid leaving it powered on for extended periods in enclosed spaces. Turn the power off and restart after the instrument's temperature has decreased.

Why JFE Advantech Gas Detectors display does not show sound pressure map or is not stable?
    • T
      Tony SmithAug 14, 2025
If the display doesn't show a sound pressure map or it's unstable, it could be due to a low ultrasonic wave. Try increasing the Gain. Alternatively, no ultrasonic wave might be generated or it might be below the detection level. If there is no sound source this is normal. To confirm, use an oscillator (MP-161-S001) or a simulative sound source (ultrasonic sound source) to see if your instrument shows a sound pressure peak.

Why JFE Advantech Gas Detectors display does not show a photo image, or shows distorted image?
    • L
      lnelsonAug 30, 2025
If the display doesn't show a photo image or shows a distorted image, it could be because the protection plate for the camera is dirty. Clean the sensor window with a soft cloth to remove any dirt. Alternatively, the cut off value may be too high; configure your cut off value lower.
