10. How to properly maintain your instrument
(1) Ultrasonic sensor
Ultrasonic sensor is an element to convert ultrasonic wave into electrical signal. Any debris on
the sensor may lead to malfunction or cause its performance degradation.
Make sure no water, oil, grease, solvent, or anything gets on the sensor.
(2) How to take care the ultrasonic sensor
Use air-blower or something similar to get rid of any debris, and use soft and dry cloth on the
sensor gently. Do not use wet cloth or shake the instrument.
(3) How to maintain camera protection plate
The instrument is protected by clear colored plate making sure nothing gets inside. Use cotton
swab or something soft to clean the protection plate if it is dirty. Do not scratch with hard object
or use solvent to clean. It may make scratches on the camera leading the images becoming unclear.
Furthermore, even if the images become unclear because of these reasons, there is no issue with
actual measurement.
