1. Outline
Gas leak Viewer MK-750ST-E (hereinafter called “the instrument”) is to visualize direction of
ultrasonic sound source (leak source) indicating distribution of ultrasonic sound (sound pressure)
strength on image display.
It is known that surrounding air vibrates in case there is a leak from a compressed air pipe or others.
However, sometimes it is very difficult to hear the leak sound with human ears in case the leak
location is in loud environment or if there is some distance. Also, even if it is possible to recognize
the leak, it is sometimes difficult to know the actual leak spot.
This instrument detects ultrasonic wave along with leak sound to visualize sound source direction
on a photo image to make it easy to know the leak existence and see the leak spot
The instrument detects ultrasonic wave, therefore, it does not get affected by perceptible
surrounding noises by the ear.
