Why don't airflow readings match T&B reports in Johnson Controls Measuring Instruments?
    • T
      twoodardAug 5, 2025
If airflow readings from Johnson Controls Measuring Instruments don't match the T&B report, it may be due to turbulent or non-uniform airflow. To resolve this, use Automatic K-factor Configuration and use 1 point calibration if only gain is required. If flow is non-linear use two or three-point calibration feature. You may also need to install additional probes, move the probes to a better location, or check for leaks in the duct.

What to do if there is no display on Johnson Controls AD-1272 Measuring Instruments?
    • K
      Kristin ReevesAug 11, 2025
If your Johnson Controls Measuring Instruments display is blank, first verify that the 24 VAC power is present at the power terminal and that the ribbon cable is fully seated in the board’s socket. Also, visually inspect the membrane to ensure it's properly plugged into the display board in the lid.

Why does Johnson Controls Measuring Instruments show the wrong number of probes?
    • B
      Becky McbrideAug 19, 2025
If Johnson Controls Measuring Instruments show an incorrect number of probes, the probe network wiring might be incorrect, or the plug might be in the wrong port. Verify the wiring using the probe network wiring information in the AD-1272 Thermal Dispersion Probe Airflow Measuring Station Installation Instructions (LIT-12012552). Also, check that the left and right terminals are not swapped and that connections are correct on the board. Ensure each ancillary probe has a unique address by checking the rotary dial position, as duplicate addresses on the Probe Network can cause this issue.

How to fix no BACnet communication with BAS on Johnson Controls Measuring Instruments?
    • L
      Lindsay YoungAug 27, 2025
If there is no BACnet communication with the BAS in Johnson Controls Measuring Instruments, verify the wiring using the BACnet wiring information in the AD-1272 Thermal Dispersion Probe Airflow Measuring Station Installation Instructions (LIT- 12012552). Check that the left and right terminals are not swapped. Also, verify that the configuration parameters in the BACnet Network Configuration settings match what is required to communicate with the BAS.
