Select the station to be called with the cursor, and press Enter key.
The frequency list of the selected
radio station is displayed.
If the position of the station is
registered, the MUF (maximum
usable frequency) is displayed in the
lowest line as a reference to select
the frequency. Also, the MUF can be
calculated by the menu of Service
MUF calculation.

Select the work frequency with the cursor, and press Enter key.
The selected frequency is set and the
antenna is tuned to the frequency.
The message as shown at right is
displayed to confirm that the channel
is busy.

Select Yes and press Enter key to start the call at the selected frequency.
Calling of the station is started
with the ARQ mode.

When receiving the periodic reply from the called station and the communication
channel is established, th e ARQ communication will be available.
The screen as shown at
right is displayed.
If receiving no response
within one minute, the
calling will be ceased
automatically. In this case,
the same call is inhibited
for about one minute.
