4.6 Check wheel attachment and wear

Replace the wheels if the wear limit (112) has been reached.

The wheel nuts on the drive wheel must be retightened in accordance with the
maintenance intervals indicated in the maintenance checklist, see page 199.
Tightening the wheel nuts
Requirements
Prepare the truck for maintenance and repairs, see page 184.
Tools and Material Required
Torque wrench
Procedure
Position the drive wheel (114) so that the wheel nuts (115) can be pulled through
the hole (113).
Tighten all the wheel nuts (115) through the hole (113) in the impact buffer with the
socket wrench.
To do this, tighten the wheel nuts in the prescribed order.
First of all tighten to 10 Nm.
and then to 150 Nm.
The wheel nuts have now been tightened.
