Detaching internal shield
1. Undo the M3 screw (13).
2. Insert the screwdriver into the
countersink on the inside shield
and remove the inside shield (2).
With some particular handle styles, it is
not possible to remove the inside
shield completely. When using these
handle styles, the inside shield must be
withdrawn as far as possible and
rotated 90°.
3. Take out the batteries (10) and
replace them with new ones.
Ensure correct battery polarity!
4. Correctly replace the battery
protection foil (8) between the
batteries.
5. Refit the inside shield.
AT TENTION
As old batteries can leak, it is advisable to check the condition of the batteries at
regular intervals. Kaba cannot provide compensation for any consequential
damage caused by faulty batteries (batteries cannot be guaranteed).
