6.1.2 Replacing the antenna
6.1.3 Replacing the e-module
1. Undo the two M4 antenna
screws (20) in the outside
shield (1).
2. Carefully pull out the
rectangular intermediate PC
board (21) and, at the same
time, pull the antenna (23) out
towards you.
3. Replace the antenna (23) or
antenna PC board (22).
When assembling, make sure that
the plug-in pins are an exact fit in
the upper sleeves and that the
lower sleeves remain free!
1. Carefully remove the antenna
and battery cables from the e-
module (24).
2. Undo the M3 PC board screw
(25).
3. Carefully tilt the e-module (24)
forwards (approx. 10 mm) and
lift it clear.
4. Replace the e-module (24).
5. Re-assemble in reverse order.
AT TENTION
Danger of damage to electronic components from electrostatic discharge.
Printed circuit boards can be damaged by electrostatic discharge. Direct contact
is the usual cause, but indirect contact can also result in damage.
Always wear a suitable ESD earthing strap when installing and repairing
equipment.
