Change the differential oil
Drain the oil when the axle has warmed up to ensure that wear par‐
ticles and impurities are removed with the warm oil.
1 Remove the plug (B) in the differential gear bottom.
2 Drain the oil into the container.
3 Replace the seal ring (C). and install the plug (B) when all the
oil has drained out, tightening torque 70-90 Nm.
4 Install and tighten (70-90 Nm) the plug (B) when all the oil has
drained out.
5 Remove the oil level inspection plug (A) in the differential.
6 Fill the differential with recommended oil, until some oil flows
from the filler hole. The oil level is correct when the oil stops
flowing.
7 Install and tighten (70-90 Nm) the oil level inspection plug (A).
Wipe the excess oil off the outer surface of the axle.
