1 Tighten the transmission mounting screws (A) at the intervals
defined in the maintenance programme.
Adjust of the transmission support spring
The bracket is mounted on the transmission with coil spring and two
locking screws.
Measure the distance (A) of the coil spring. If the distance is not
63.5mm it is necessary to readjust
1 Clamp the bracket (B) to support (C) with coil spring with suit‐
able screw (D) and nut (E) to preload the coil spring.
2 Tighten the screw (D) and nut (E) to lightly preload the coil
spring.
3 Loosen the locking nuts (F).
4 Adjust the distance (A) to 63,5mm with the screw and nut.
5 Tighten the locking nuts (F). Tightening torque 58Nm.
6 Loosen the screw (D) and nut (E).
7 Examine the distance of the coil spring. If the distance is not
63.5mm, repeate the points 2-6.
8 Remove the screw (D) and nut (E).
Breather maintenance
The breather is located on the top of the transmission converter
housing. It serves to prevent air pressure buildup within the trans‐
mission and must be kept clean and open.
1 The amount of dust and dirt determines the frequency of
breather cleaning. Be careful when cleaning the transmission
exterior. Spraying steam, water, or cleaning solution directly at
the breather may force the water or cleaning solution into the
transmission.
