Hub connection
This section contains information on connecting the PC to one or more Model 2701s
through an Ethernet hub (
Figure 2-2) or switch that is not part of a larger local area network
using Ethernet straight through cables. When using this connection scheme, the TCP/IP set-
tings for the PCs Ethernet card and the Model 2701 will need to be set manually (see
Section 3).
NOTE Different available IP addresses are required for each Model 2701 and the network
interface card connected to the Model 2701 network.
