Provided software
The Model 2701 includes the following software (supplied on a CD):
• TestPoint runtime start-up software package
• VISA-based IVI style instrument driver
TestPoint runtime start-up software package
The free TestPoint runtime start-up software package (Figure 4-2) provides basic data
logging capabilities, so a system can be up and running almost immediately. A few clicks of the
mouse are all it takes to confirm that the system's hardware, wiring, communications, and
software drivers are installed and operating correctly. Data from multiple channels of a single
2701’s can be saved to disk; up to eight channels of data can be graphed automatically and
multiple configurations can be saved to disk.
Refer to Table 4-1 for a description of the TestPoint runtime start-up software packages
features. If the application demands greater functionality, this free runtime software can be
modified with the TestPoint application development package (described later).
