      If the web page opens but settings and data fields are blank, check the subnet mask on both the Model 2701 and the PC to ensure they match. Add the IP address of the Model 2701 to trusted sites in IE and allow ActiveX controls. Ensure only one connection to the 2701 exists at a time. Cycle power to the 2701 to close past connections. Use the correct cable type (straight through for direct connection without a hub, not crossover). Ensure each node has a unique IP address but shares the same subnet mask and network ID. Check the interface card setup. Verify the IP address and refresh if needed. On the 2701 front panel, press Shift >> RS-232 and set to OFF if it is set to use Serial Interface.
