Changing Model 2701 TCP/IP addresses
The Model 2701 leaves the factory with the default settings in Table 3-4.
If the instrument is not recognized by the network, check the TCP/IP settings and make any
changes required. Each Model 2701 ships with a unique MAC address—see the Glossary for a
detailed definition.
Front panel
Check the TCP/IP address
1. Press Shift.
2. Press Ethernet (VIEW is displayed).
3. Press Enter to select VIEW.
4. Use the ¹ and ƒ range keys to scroll between:
•ADDRESS
• SUBNET
•GATEWAY
• MAC (read-only, cannot change)
5. Press enter to view the desired setting.
Set the IP address
1. Press Shift.
2. Press Ethernet (VIEW is displayed).
3. Use the ¹ and ƒ range keys to scroll the display to SET.
4. Press Enter to select SET.
5. Modify the settings:
•Use the ¹ and ƒ range keys to change values. Move the cursor with the ¹ and ƒ arrow
keys.
• Press enter to set the desired field and open the next setting.
