STATus subsystem
The STATus subsystem is used to control the status registers of the SourceMeter. The com-
mands in this subsystem are summarized in Table 18-8.
NOTE These registers and the overall status structure are fully explained in Section 15,
“Status Structure.”
Read event registers
[:EVENt]?
:STATus:MEASurement[:EVENt]? Read Measurement Event Register
:STATus:QUEStionable[:EVENt]? Read Questionable Event Register
:STATus:OPERation[:EVENt]? Read Operation Event Register
Description These query commands are used to read the contents of the status event
registers. After sending one of these commands and addressing the
SourceMeter to talk, a value is sent to the computer. This value indicates
which bits in the appropriate register are set.
Program event enable registers
ENABle <NDN> or <NRf>
:STATus:MEASurement:ENABle <NDN> or <NRf> Program Measurement Event Enable

:STATus:OPERation:ENABle <NDN> or <NRf> Program Operation Event Enable Register
Description These commands are used to set the contents of the event enable
registers.
