Replacement Procedure

Hard Disk Assembly Replacement (Option 020)
Tools Required
• torque screwdriver, T15, and T20
• torque screwdriver, T10 (set to 4.4 in-lb, and 9 in-lb)
Removal Procedure
Refer to Figure 4-3 for this procedure.
Step 1. Remove the four TORX T10 screws (item 1) fastening the Hard Disk Assembly.
Step 2. Slide out the Hard Disk Assembly.
Step 3. Disconnect the power supply cable (item 2) from the Hard Disk Drive.
Step 4. Disconnect the S-ATA cable (item 3) from the Hard Disk Drive.
Step 5. Remove the four TORX T10 screws (item 4) fastening the Hard Disk Drive.
Replacement Procedure
Step 1. Reverse the order of the removal procedure.
Set a torque to 9 in-lb for torque driver when fasten the TORX T10 screws
(item 1).
Set a torque to 4.4 in-lb for torque driver when fasten the TORX T10
screws (item 4).
