Using Complex Cal to Improve EVM in a 128 QAM Signal
The EVM should now be improved.
17. Select RF Output > Off to disable the RF output on the signal generator.
18. Disconnect the cable from the signal generator and connect it to the RCal
module.
19. Select Input Output > Calibration > Configuration.
20. Select Row 1 > Duplicate Row. In Row 2 change µW Path Ctrl to
Standard to change the RF path to use the Yig Tuned Filter (Standard
Path). This is an easy way to add the effects of additional loss into the
system, instead of adding another element like an attenuator, external
filter, and so on.
Another state must be added in order to properly apply corrections to both
RF paths.
