僅 With rollover sensor
The side and curtain air bags are
designed to inflate when a rollover is
detected by a rollover sensor. The air
bags may inflate in a rollover, when it
is detected by the rollover sensor.
僅 Without rollover sensor
The side and/or curtain air bags may
inflate when the vehicle is rolled over
by a side impact collision, if the vehi
-
cle is equipped with side air bags and
curtain air bags.
SRS care
The SRS is virtually maintenance-free,
and there are no parts you can safely
service by yourself.
If the SRS air bag warning light does not
illuminate, or continuously remains on,
have the system inspected by a profes
-
sional workshop. Kia recommends visit
-
ing an authorized Kia dealer/service
partner.
僅 Modification to SRS components or
wiring, including the addition of any
kind of badges to the pad covers or
modifications to the body structure,
can adversely affect SRS performance
and lead to possible injury.
僅 If components of the air bag system
must be discarded, or if the vehicle
must be scrapped, certain safety pre
