Canceling or resetting auto
defogging
Operation
僅 Press ( ) for 3 seconds.
- The button indicator will blink 3
times if canceled.
- The button indicator will blink 6
times if reset.
Rear window/outside mirror
defroster
Operation
僅 Press the Rear-window defroster but -
ton. The indicator lights up when the
defroster is ON.
僅 It turns OFF after approximately 20
minutes or when the vehicle is in OFF
position.
Heat button
Operation
僅 Press the heat button. The indicator
illuminates when the heat function is
ON.
僅 The air conditioner and heater uses
energy from the battery. If you use
the heater or air conditioner for too
long, distance to empty can be
reduced due to too much power con
-
sumption.
WARNING
僅 Do not use the ( ) or ( ) position
during cooling operation in extremely
humid weather. The difference
between the temperature of the out -
side air and the windshield could
cause the outer surface of the wind -
shield to fog up, causing loss of visibil -
ity. In this case, set the mode selection
to the ( ) position and fan speed con

trol to the lower speed.
