E. ADJUSTING CLUTCH PEDAL
1. Stop the engine and remove the key.
2. Slightly depress the clutch pedal and measure free
travel at top of pedal stroke.
3. If adjustment is needed, loosen the lock nut, re-
move the clevis pin and adjust the rod length within
acceptable limits.
4. Retighten the lock nut and split the cotter pin.

D. EVACUATOR VALVE
Open the evacuator valve once a week under ordinary
conditions - or daily when used in a dusty place - to get
rid of large particles of dust and dirt.
(1) Clutch Rod (A) Free Travel
(2) Nut
F. ADJUSTING BRAKE PEDAL
(1) Lock Nut (A) Free Travel
(2) Turnbuckle
Proper brake
pedal free travel
20 ~ 30 mm (0.8 ~ 1.2 in.)
on the pedal.
Keep the free travel in the right
and left brake pedals equal.
1. Release the parking brake.
2. Slightly depress the brake pedals and measure free
travel at top of pedal stroke.
3. If adjustment is needed, loosen the lock nut and
turn the turnbuckle to adjust the rod length within
acceptable limits.
4. Retighten the lock nut.
