A. ADJUSTING ENGINE VALVE CLEARANCE

9.6 EVERY 600 HOURS
A. ADJUSTING FRONTAXLE PIVOT
If the front axle pivot pin adjustment is not correct, front
wheel vibration can occur causing vibration in the steer-
ing wheel.
B. ADJUSTING PROCEDURE
Loosen the lock nut, tighten the adjusting screw all the
way, and then loosen the screw by 1/6 turn. Retighten
the lock nut.

B. REPLACING FUEL FILTER ELEMENT
(See “Cleaning fuel filter” in every 100 hours
maintenance.)

C. CHANGING FRONTAXLE CASE OIL
1. To drain the used oil, remove the right and left drain
pugs and filling plug at the front axle case and drain
the oil completely into the oil pan.
2. After draining reinstall the drain plugs.
3. Remove the oil level check plug.
4. Fill with the new oil up to the check plug port.

5. After filling reinstall the filling plug and check plug.
