8.1. Decalcifying SANARIUM M evaporator
SANARIUM M determining the water quantity
required for decalcifying
. Determine the water quantity required for
calcifying. The required water quantity
corresponds to the height of the edge of lime on
the glass pipe.
1. Then fill the evaporator up to the visible edge of
limeontheglasspipe(1)withwater.
2. Put the filling can (2) under the outlet. Open the
drain cock (3).
3. Transfer the water quantity drained in stages into
a bucket with litre markings.
4. Note down the collected water quantity or mark
on the bucket and empty the bucket.

5. Fill the bucket with fresh water up to the marked
or noted water quantity.
. The maximum filling quantity of the evaporator is
12 litres.

Risk of burns
There is a risk of eye and skin burns when
handling decalcifiers.
Always note the information on the
package insert.

6. Add the decalcifier.
. Note quantities stated on the package insert.
Decalcifying SANARIUM M
7. Fill the evaporator at the filling unit (4)withthe
filling can (2) from the bucket.
. Allow the decalcifier to take effect overnight or
follow the time stated on the package insert
8. After the reaction time put the filling can (2)
under the outlet. Open the drain cock (3). Drain
the decalcifier water into the filling can (2)and
pour into the sink.
