1. Brief description of the SANARIUM Control
Unit 16033
The Klafs-SANARIUM control unit enables the convenient operation of your SANARIUM. Three or four
permanently programmed standard programs are available for each form of bathing
(Sauna/SANARIUM).
Modifications of the settings in any of the standard programs are stored in an individual program. One
individual program is available for each form of bathing.
The following operating values can be changed within the setting range before and during operation
via the control panel:
d temperature
d absolute humidity
d start and operation time.

Sauna
with temperatures between 85 - 100 °C and a low relative humidity.
SaunaP
UR
the new development from Klafs brings back the tradition of Finnish stone sweat baths.
Thanks to approx. 100 kg of olivine stones in the sauna heater, sauna bathing is even more
beneficial, intensive raponsing is possible at the same time. SaunaP
UR creates the feeling of earthy
warmth in a Finnish sauna.
The sauna must be pre-heated to 70 - 85 °C a long time. Afterward, the heater is switched off by
the SaunaP
UR function at the beginning of bathing.
The slowly falling temperature can be compensated by frequent raponsing. The new form of
bathing makes sauna bathing possible without clicking sounds and with reduced electromagnetic
radiation.
Warm Air Bath
with a particularly mild climate, temperatures between 45 - 60 °C and a relative humidity of up to
approx. 20 %.
SANARIUM operation
Soft steam bath
as a mild and humid bath, with temperatures between 48 - 60 °C and an absolute humidity of up
to 72 g/m
3
.
Tropical bath
with temperatures of up to 75 °C and an absolute humidity of up to 72 g/m
3
.
In both bathing types, the temperature and absolute humidity are regulated by a microprocessor
control unit.
Aroma bath
with the same climatic values as the soft steam bath, albeit with the additional vaporization of
high-quality herb and aroma extracts. This enables the effect of the soft steam bath to be
optimized.
