Impurities separated by screens and aspirator
disharged separately: Remove the covering plate
from the outlet of the trough auger. If desired a
shutter may be fitted instead of the covering plate.
Capacity
Maximum capacity of the combi-cleaner for pre-
cleaning of grain is approx. 40 tons/hour
(uncleaned crop).
Generally, the capacity will depend on the required
cleaning efficiency; the smaller the load on the
screens, the better the separation of impurities.
The conveying system should therefore be desig-
ned to allow adjustment of the material supply to
the combi-cleaner to obtain the desired cleaning
efficiency.
Inclination
Install the combi-cleaner at an inclination of approx.
5° to the rear.
At an inclination of approx. 4.5 ° the inner screen is
horizontal. The inclination must therefore never be
less than 4.5° as the inner screen should either be
horizontal or incline towards the outlet end.
The angle of inclination should normally never ex-
ceed 7°. The pipe connections for the combi-clea-
ner should therefore allow adjustment of the inclina-
tion between 4.5° and 7°.
Connect, for instance a flexible steel hose to the
inlet and the fan disharge opening (product 122 050
156).
For adjustment of the working angle use the gradu-
ated scale on the side of the combi-cleaner.
Set the arrow to the desired number of degrees.
Now raise the inlet end of the combi-cleaner using
the lifting jack until the spirit level indicates that the
red arrow is horizontal.
Adjust the length of the combi-cleaner legs to rest
on the floor and lower the jack. The combi-cleaner
must not rest on the jack during operation.
