8.2 When the Message “PAPER JAM” Appears
If a paper misfeed occurs while copying or printing, the message shown
below appears, and copying or printing stops.
A message indicating the location of the paper misfeed appears in the
bottom line of the screen.
Follow the appropriate procedure described below to clear the misfed
paper.
To clear a paper misfeed in the Duplex

Note
The optional Duplex must be installed. (7220 only)
1 Open the Duplex door.
2 Carefully pull out any misfeed
paper.
3 Close the Duplex door.
