Machine status
An automatic self-test is performed after switching on the machine.
Operating modes and detected failures are indicated by the indicator light as listed in the
following table:
The indicator light
is embedded in the
HMI cover at the front
of the selector wheel.

Heating up / self-test red, blinking, duration max. 40 sec
Ready / beverage preparation green, steady
Water tank empty during
beverage preparation or fluid

After beverage preparation
(cool-down time)

- 5 sec for level 4 to level XL extrac-
tions
- 8 sec for level 1/2/3 extractions
Machine needs descaling orange, steady
Machine enters descaling
