OPERATING
Preparation for first use
The new machine has to be rinsed properly before first use according to the following
sequence:
The machine will
not work without
inserted capsule holder.
The pre-heating
time depends on
the mains voltage.
1. Rinse water tank manually with fresh
drinking water.
2. Fill water tank with fresh drinking
water.
3. Insert water tank into machine.
4. Open locking handle.
5. Remove capsule holder if already
inserted.
6. Open capsule holder by pressing its
locking tab.
7. Place rinsing tool in capsule holder.
8. Close capsule holder.
9. Insert capsule holder in machine.
10. Close locking handle.
11. Place an empty container with 1 l
capacity underneath coffee outlet.
12. Regard correct mains voltage.
13. Connect power plug to mains power
socket.
14. Turn selector wheel to switch on
machine.
15. Machine heats up with red blinking
indicator light for approx. 30 sec,
max 40 sec.
16. Indicator light turns to steady green.
as soon as machine is ready for use.
