REPAIR
Replace power cord
Prerequisites:
• The flow meter (22) is removed p. 42.
• The building block (15) is removed from the component frame (8) p. 50.
Procedure:
1. Loosen 2 crosshead screws and remove strain relief for power cord (37).
2. Turn building block (15) carefully.
3. Unplug flat receptacles of power cord (37) from building block PCB (part of building
block 15).
4. Unplug flat receptacle of protective earth wire from ground terminal on thermoblock
(part of building block 15).
5. Remove ferrite core (part of power cord 37) from support on building block PCB
cover.
The removal of the
power cord is an
integrated part of the
procedure for replacing
the building block.
Use flat nose pliers
for easy removal.
These flat receptacles have a special connector latching.
Press down lever with flat nose pliers when pulling a recep-
tacle.
