TROUBLESHOOTING
Error code list

Level 1 active
Heater overtemper-
ature detected
Thermoblock temperature
raised over 120°C / 248°F.
Let thermoblock cool down in eco mode
for half an hour.
If this error happens several times in
sequence, a defect of the thermoblock or
building block PCB is possible (replace
building block p. 50).
Level 2 active
Maximal operating
time of pump
exceeded
Pump has been running for
more than 10 min (integrated
over time).
The coffee machine has been used
intensively.
Let pump cool down in eco mode and
wait for 10 minutes.
Level 3 active
Heat-up timeout Heat-up time exceeds 40 sec.
To prevent the coffee machine from
damage, all actors including the ther-
moblock are switched off (error state).
If this error happens several times in
sequence, a defect of the thermoblock or
building block PCB is possible (replace
building block p. 50).
Level 4 active
NTC connection
broken
NTC sensor wires are broken or
disconnected.
Check NTC wiring and connector.
Replace NTC sensor ( p. 49).
Level 5 active
NTC short circuited
NTC sensor wires are short
circuited or NTC sensor is
defect.
Replace NTC sensor ( p. 49).
Level 6 active
Zero crossing
detection defect
Defect circuit for the zero
crossing detection of the mains
voltage.
Effects are high surge currents and
switch-on peaks that can trigger a mains
fuse.
Replace building block ( p. 50)
