5. Check condition of pressure hoses on pump outlet: Remove hose clip(s) (26) and
pull off old, brittle pressure hose(s) from pump (19).
6. Check condition of pump outlet. Discard a dirty, clogged or leaky pump outlet
together with a defect pump.
7. Only if the pressure hoses and the pump outlet are in good condition, they can be
re-used with the following procedure:
• Fix end of pump outlet with one hand.
• Apply a fork wrench no. 12 to the extension on the pump outlet.
• Turn extension clockwise with the fork wrench to loosen the thread.
• The turn the pump body clockwise until the pump outlet can be removed.
• Discard and replace the old O-ring seated between pump outlet and pump
extension (see illustration below).
