FINAL TESTS
26. Measure hot water temperature with
electronic thermometer: Place
temperature sensor in water flow
approx. 3 mm under valve outlet.
The hot water temperature should
be between 80 °C to 90 °C (176 °F
to 194 °F) and must never exceed
98 °C (208.4 °F).
27. Close pressure control valve progres-
sively to reach Pmax.
Maximum pressure must be within
11.5 - 14.5 bar.

If the pressure test
failed continue with
the leakage check, other-
wise remove the test
equipment.
28. Wait until coffee machine is in eco
mode. Then unplug coffee machine.
29. Watch manometer for 30 sec.
The system is leakproof, if the
pressure drop is less than 1.5 bar
within 30 sec.
30. Release the pressure by opening the
pressure control valve completely.
31. Remove an empty recipient.
