12.11 Adjusting the steering damper (SUPER DUKE RR)
Warning
Danger of accidents The steering is very stiff when the damping is closed.
– Never close the steering damping completely.
Minimum damping opening from the end stop 3 clicks
– Before going on a ride, ensure there is sufficient movement in the steering.

In contrast to other absorbing elements, the steering damper is adjusted with the absorbing element open.

Standard 22 clicks
Do not change the adjustment of the steering damper during
the journey.

After adjusting the steering damper, check the steering for
freedom of movement.
The handlebar can be moved from one stop to the other
without a locking tendency.
