Installing the Printer Driver
To install the printer driver to Mac OS X 10.3.9 or later, follow the procedure below:

The following describes an installation on Mac OS X 10.4.11. The procedures is the same when
other versions of Mac OS X are used.
Installing the PPD Files

Insert the User Software (Driv-
ers) into the DVD-ROM drive.
The User Software icon appears on the
desktop.

Double-click the OSX Installer
located in the “OSX:Printer
Driver” folder in the User Soft-
ware (Drivers).
The Authenticate dialog box appears.

Enter the user name and pass-
word that has an administrator
privilege, and click [OK].
The License screen appears.

Click [Accept].
The OSX installer screen appears.
