Unusable Time
This feature sets a time period during which the machine will not print received faxes.

Display the screen.
[Home] key > [...] > [System Menu] > [Security Settings] > "Device Security Settings"

Configure the function.
Set the unusable time
Select [ On ] and select [+], [-] or use the numeric keys to enter the start time and end time.
Set the cancel code
Specify the code to temporarily cancel the unusable setting during unusable time.
1 Use the numeric keys to enter Unlock Code (0000 to 9999).
2 Select [OK].
IMPORTANT
When Unusable Time is set, in addition to fax printing, all other printing
operations are prohibited during the unusable time period, including printing of
copy jobs and printer jobs, and printing from USB Drive.
Faxes and print jobs received during the unusable time period are printed after the
unusable time period ends, or when the unusable time period is temporarily canceled.
NOTE
If user login administration is enabled, you can only change the settings by logging in
with administrator privileges or as a user with privileges to configure this setting.
The factory default login user name and login password are set as shown below.
Login User Name: TASKalfa MA3500ci:3500, TASKalfa MA4500ci:4500
Login Password: TASKalfa MA3500ci:3500, TASKalfa MA4500ci:4500
NOTE
If the same time is set as the start time and end time, you cannot use all day.
NOTE
To use the machine temporarily during unusable time, enter the Unlock Code and
select [Login].
