OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS: PILOT MODEL
This appliance has a pilot light which must be lit with a match or
igniter. When lighting the pilot, follow these instructions exactly.
Before lighting use your sense of smell around water heater area for
propane existence . Propane is heavier than air and will settle at
floor level. Pretest this area also.
What To Do If You Smell Propane
Do not try to light any appliance.
Do not touch any electric switch.
Do not use any phone in your recreational vehicle.
Immediately call your propane service center from your neighbors
phone. Follow the propane service centers instructions.
If you cannot reach your propane supplier, call the fire
department.
Use only your hand to push in or turn the main valve or reset button.
Never use tools. If the knob will not push in or turn by hand, do not
try to repair it. Call a qualified service technician. Force or
attempted repair may result in a fire or explosion.
Do not use this appliance if any part has been under water.
Immediately call a qualified service technician to inspect the
appliance and to replace any part of the control system and any
operational control which has been under water.
Before operating the water, check the location of the vent to make
sure it will not be blocked by the opening of any exterior door on the
trailer. If it can be blocked, do not operate the water heater with the
door open.
NOTE Different model water heaters are used for different unit floor
plans. Each model Water Heater has its own Users Manual. The
following instructions may vary slightly from the instructions in your
unit. Therefore very important that you refer to the Users Manual
provided in your unit.
If you do not follow these instructions exactly, a fire or explosion may result
causing property damage, personal injury or loss of life.
