Lane Shark LS-3
Blade Replacement (Refer to Figure 1)
Before attempting to replace or ip (double sided) blades make sure
you have completed all steps in the “WARNING” section on page
36. Failure to complete these steps could result in serious injury or
death. NEVER attempt to weld or straighten damaged blades.
1 ⁄” Rotary Cutter Nut
1 ⁄” Split Lock Washer
Blade Carrier
9”x3” Blade
2 ⁄” x 1 ⁄” Rotary Cutter Bolt
1. Move the Lane Shark into the vertical position. (Refer to pages
33-34)
2. Lower the boom of the tractor until the Lane Shark is level and
resting on the ground.
3. Remove the 2-1/16”x1-1/8” Rotary Cutter Bolt, 1-1/8” Split Lock
Washer, and 1-1/8” Rotary Cutter Nut from each blade. (Refer to
image on pg. 22)
4. Replace or ip (double sided) blades.
5. Reinstall with NEW 2-1/16”x1-1/8” Rotary Cutter Bolt, NEW 1-1/8”
Split Lock Washer, and NEW 1-1/8” Rotary Cutter Nut on each
blade.
6. Reinstall both hydraulic hoses.
