MAINTENANCE
General
Routine maintenance is key to the longevity of any
implement. It is very important that you maintain your Lane Shark
as described below. It also is recommended that you change
your tractors hydraulic uid per your tractors manufactures
recommendation to ensure the longevity of your Lane Shark and
tractor.
WARNING
To avoid serious injury or death make sure you follow these steps
before attempting to service or repair the Lane Shark.
• Make sure tractor gear selector is in park or set parking brake.
• Make sure the engine is o.
• Make sure ignition key is removed.
• Make sure the tractor is parked on a level surface.
• Make sure all hydraulic hoses are disconnected from the
Lane Shark.
MAINTENANCE CHECKS
• Check for debris on deck of the Lane Shark.
• Check all hardware and tighten if necessary.
• Make sure all pins are in place and secure.
• Make sure the kickstand is in place and secure.
• Check blades for damage and sharpness, replace if necessary.
(If blades are in need of replacement, you MUST replace the
mounting hardware as well.)
• Check blade mounting hardware.
• Check blade carrier hardware.
• Check hydraulic system for leaks.
• Make sure all safety and warning decals are present and legible.
