DC POWER LOSS - ESSENTIAL BUS (Aircraft 35-067
thru 35-201, 35-205, and aircraft 36-018 thru 36-040
except when these aircraft incorporate AMI< 78-13)
The pilot's and copilot's essential buses are tied together through the ESS
BUS TIE Circuit Breaker located on the copilot's circuit breaker pane\.
Upon
loss of either ESS BUS Circuit Breaker, the ESS BUS TIE Circuit
Breaker will nonnally open also. The open ESS BUS TIE Circuit Breaker
will isolate the pilot's and copilot's essential buses.

IF AN ESS BUS ClRcurr BREAKER OPENS IN FUGHT:
Affected Essential Bus:
.1. ESS BUS ~ Cirruit Breaker (copilot's panel) - Pull, if not alrsady
open.

Do not reset the ESS BUS TIE Circuit Breaker.

Essential Bus elecbicalload - Reduce as follows:
a. AUTOPILOT Switch - OFF.
b. Instrument panel light rheostats - OFF if conditions permit.
c. Restrict operation of the follOwing systems to one at a time.
(1) Pitch, roll and yaw trims.
(2) Communication transmissions.
(3) Fuel transfer and standby pumps.
(4) Haps.
(5) Landing Gear.
3. ESS BUS Circuit Breaker - Reset.
