TAXI AND BEFORE TAKEOFF

Throughout taxi:
a. Nose Wheel Steering -
As
required.

Nose wheel steering may be locked in
by
depressing the

STEER LOCK switch. The STEER ON light
will
illumi-
nate. The steer lock may be disengaged at any time
by
depressing and releasing the pilot's
or
copilot's control
wheel master switch
(MSW).
b. Brakes - Check.

When taxiing through slush
or
snow, use the brakes to
create some friction heat
in
the brake discs
to
prevent
brakes from freezing.
2. Fuel Balance - Check.
3. Right Controls - Check.
4. Right Instruments - Check.
5. Takeoff Data (Nt,
VI,
VR,
V2)
- Reviewed and Bugs Set.
6. Start Opposite Engine
(if
applicable) - Refer to
STARTING
ENGINES, this section.

Starter Disengagement Check

second engine

Battery Charging Bus Current Umiter Check (after both engines are
started):
