Type Description
SIM card This menu highlights that a SIM card must not
have a SIM lock. Remove SIM lock by using
for example a mobile phone before usage with
BLK2FLY.
IMEI The IMEI number, International Mobile Equipment
Identity, is a unique 15-digit code.
It precisely identies the device with the SIM card
input. The GSM Association organisation denes
the rst 14 digits. An algorithm named Luhn for-
mula generates the last digit. It is a control char-
acter. This whole number is an individual number
assigned to each and every mobile device all over
the world.

As the SIM card number cannot be a
permanent identier of the device, the
IMEI was created. The SIM card is asso-
ciated with the user. It can be easily
transferred from the mobile to another
mobile.
