• Examine the Splendimo for damage and defects. Repair or replace
damaged parts.

Examine the hydraulic system for leaks and damaged parts. Repair or
replace damaged parts.
• Examine the gearboxes for leaks.
• Make sure all bolts and nuts are torque-tight. Bolt and Nut Torque Table
(page 6-2).
• Make sure all safety decals are not damaged. Replace if necessary.
• Release the pressure from the V-belts.
5.1.8 Maintenance After Prolonged Storage
• Remove anti-corrosion agent from piston rod.

Adjust the V-belt tension.
• Adjust the Pretension of the Anti-Shock Device (page 4-7).
• Examine the wear plates, mower discs and knives for wear and damage.
Replace if necessary.
• Make sure the knife pins are tight.
• Make sure the rubber buffer of the anti shock device is pretensioned at 9.5
cm.
• Examine the Splendimo for damage and defects. Repair or replace

5.2 Preventive Maintenance
5.2.1 Clean the Splendimo
1. Make sure the Splendimo is in the parking position.
2.
Lift the safety guard and lock it with the hook.
3. Use a water jet to thoroughly clean the Splendimo.
4. Carefully engage the PTO at the lowest possible engine speed for a
short time to remove any water from the cutter bar.
