icomfort Touch Thermostat − Technical Description and Features
The 24VAC icomfort Touch thermostat (figure 2) is an elec-
tronic communicating, color display touchscreen, 7−day pro-
grammable thermostat. It stores system parameters and set-
tings in a nonvolatile memory (i.e., it retains data when
electrical power fails or is turned off).

The thermostat also:
includes on-board help screens,
supports heat pumps or air conditioning units, with up to
four stages of heat / two stages of compressor operation.
(Two stages of heat pump heating and two stages of aux-
iliary back−up heat are provided. Also, two stages of
emergency heat are provided),
supports Indoor Air Quality with time-based notification
of consumables including media filters, UVC bulbs, hu-
midifier pads, and PureAir system catalyst service / re-
placement,
supports variable−capacity / multi−stage heat/cool, uni-
versal compatibility (gas/electric/heat pump/ac), and is
dual fuel capable (icomfort−enabled HP only) with two
balance points.
