Solution:OntheBootmenuofThinkPadSetup,makesurethattheharddiskdriveisontheBootpriority
orderlist.IfitisontheExcludedfrombootorderlist,itisdisabled.Selecttheentryforitonthelistand
presstheShift+1key.ThismovestheentrytotheBootpriorityorderlist.
Problem:Aftersettingaharddiskpasswordontheharddiskdriveofthecomputer,youmovedthedriveto
anothercomputer.Nowyoucannotunlocktheharddiskpassword.
Solution:Yourcomputersupportsanenhancedpasswordalgorithm.Computersolderthanyoursmight
notsupportsuchasecurityfunction.

Problem:WhenyoucompresslesorfoldersbyuseofthedatacompressionfunctioninWindows,andthen

Solution:ApplythediskdefragmentationtoolinWindowsforfasteraccesstothedata.
