1.Right-clickonthedesktopandselectNVIDIAControlPanel.TheNVIDIAControlPanelwindow
opens.
2.IntheSelectaTasknavigationpaneatleftunderDisplay,clickSetupmultipledisplays.
3.Right-clickVerifyyourdisplayconguration,andthenright-clickonthemonitoriconandselect
eitherCloneModeorExtendedMode.
4.ClickOK.

–SingleDisplay:Dependingonyourconguration,thecomputeroutputisdisplayedoneither
thecomputerdisplayortheDVImonitor.
–CloneDisplays:Thesamecomputeroutputisdisplayedonboththecomputerdisplayand
theDVImonitor.
–ExtendedDesktop:Differentcomputeroutputisdisplayedonthecomputerdisplayand
theDVImonitor.
–ForWindows8:
1.Movethecursortothebottom-rightcornerofthescreenandclicktheDevicescharm.
2.ClickSecondscreenandselectDuplicateorExtend.
ConsiderationsforattachingaDVImonitor
ConnecttheDVImonitortotheexpansionunit,andturnitonbeforeyouturnonthecomputer.Otherwise
thesystemcannotrecognizethatthemonitorthatisconnected.IftheoptionforenablingtheDVImonitor
intheDisplayPropertieswindowisnotdisplayed,tryclosingthewindowandopeningitagain.Ifthe
optionstillisnotdisplayed,makesurethattheconnectorofthemonitorisattachedrmly,andrepeat
theprocedureforattachingthemonitor.
UsingtheMiniDisplayPortconnector
YourcomputerhasaMiniDisplayPortconnector,adigitaldisplayinterfaceforconnectiontovariousexternal
devices,suchasCRTmonitors,projectors,orevenhigh-denitiontelevisions.Thiscompactconnector
enablesaplug-and-playsetupandsupportsadaptersthatcanplugintoDVI,VGA,orHDMIconnectors.
TheMiniDisplayPortconnectorofyourcomputersupportsaudioaswellasvideostreaming.
