displayedafter60seconds,trypressingFn+F7toswitchbetweendifferentdisplayoutputlocations.
YoucancreateapresentationschemebyfollowingtheinstructionsofPresentationDirector,withtheprojector
attachedtoyourcomputer.Youcansavetheschemeforafuturepresentationwiththesameequipment.
Playingsound
Yourprojectormighthaveoneormoreaudio-inputconnectors.Toprojectsound,youwillneedtoattachthe
comboaudiojackonyourcomputertotheseconnectorsbyusinganaudiocable(commerciallyavailable).
UsingtheExtenddesktopfunction
YourcomputersupportsafunctionnamedtheExtenddesktopfunction.WiththeExtenddesktopfunction,
youcandisplayoutputonboththecomputerdisplayandanexternalmonitor.Youalsocandisplaydifferent
desktopimagesoneachmonitor.
ConsiderationsforusingtheExtenddesktopfunction
•WhenaprogramusingDirectDraworDirect3Displayedinfull-screenmode,itisshownonlyonthe
primarydisplay.
•IfyouwanttoshowDOSfull-screenwhileintheExtenddesktopmode,onlytheprimarydisplayshows
DOS;theotherdisplayisblackedout.
•IfyourcomputerhastheIntelgraphicscard,youcandesignatetheotherdisplayastheprimarydisplay
bydoingthefollowing:
1.Right-clickonthedesktopandselectScreenResolution.
2.ClickthedesireddisplayimageandselecttheMakethismymaindisplaycheckbox.
3.ClickOK.
EnablingtheExtenddesktopfunction
ToenabletheExtenddesktopfunction,dothefollowing:
1.Connecttheexternalmonitortothemonitorconnector;thenconnectthemonitortoanelectricaloutlet.
2.Turnontheexternalmonitor.
3.PressFn+F7,thenselectExtend.
Tochangetheresolutionforeachmonitor,dothefollowing:
1.Right-clickonthedesktop,andclickScreenresolution.
2.ClicktheMonitor-1icon(fortheprimarydisplay,thecomputerdisplay).
3.Settheresolutionfortheprimarydisplay.
4.ClicktheMonitor-2icon(forthesecondarydisplay,theexternaldisplay).
5.Settheresolutionforthesecondarydisplay.
